Motorola is all set to launch its much-awaited smartphone, the Moto G96 5G, in India on July 9 2025. Ahead of its official launch, Motorola has already listed the smartphone on its website revealing complete specifications features and colour options. The Moto G96 5G is expected to be one of the most value-packed mid-range 5G smartphones under the Rs 20000 segment. Let’s take a closer look at what it brings.
Moto G96 5G Specifications
The Moto G96 5G features a 6.67-inch P-OLED curved-edge display with Full HD plus resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate with peak brightness of 1600 nits. It includes an in-display fingerprint sensor and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset the phone comes with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage with options of 128GB and 256GB. It runs Android 15 and promises one major OS update and three years of security patches. The rear camera setup includes a 50MP Sony LYT 700C main sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide and macro lens while the front houses a 32MP selfie shooter. The device includes Dolby Atmos dual speakers Wi-Fi 6 Bluetooth 5.2 USB Type-C IP68 dust and water resistance and a 5500mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.

Moto G96 5G Colour Options and Availability
The Moto G96 5G will be available in four colours – Dresden Blue Ashleigh Blue Cattleya Orchid and Greener Pasture. It will be launched in two storage variants – 8GB RAM with 128GB and 8GB RAM with 256GB.

While the official price is yet to be confirmed it is expected that the Moto G96 5G will be priced close to Rs 20000 making it a strong option in the budget 5G smartphone category. The device will be available exclusively on Flipkart after launch.
