With the Galaxy S26 series launch behind its back, Samsung is turning its attention to the next generation of foldables. While work on those proceeds, details on the two battery cells for the Galaxy Z Flip8 have surfaced and they bring bad news for anyone hoping for an upgrade.
The two cells, EB-BF776 and EB-BF777, have rated capacities of 1,150mAh and 3,024mAh, respectively. This adds up to 4,174mAh. Last year’s Galaxy Z Flip7 had exactly the same rated capacity, though the split was slightly different – 1,189mAh and 2,985mAh.
